LOCHSIDE STYLING PROJECT

This Lochside living room presented a strong architectural foundation, anchored by an existing fireplace and expansive views, but the original furnishings did not fully support the scale of the space. Leather seating and undersized pieces from their last home left the room feeling disconnected and diminished the fireplace as a focal point.

Our approach focused on rebalancing proportion and enhancing flow. Larger, more substantial sofas and a properly scaled area rug were introduced to ground the seating arrangement and visually expand the room. Modern floor lamps add warmth and structure, while swivel chairs were placed to allow the homeowners to fully enjoy the surrounding scenery.

A long console table behind the sofa creates a subtle division between the living and dining areas, defining each zone without interrupting sightlines. The result is a space that feels layered, intentional, and comfortably refined, one that honours both the architecture of the home and its setting.
